December is Crazy

Well it's Saturday morning, December 22nd. and I'm out the door in about 15 minutes. Can you believe I have two inspections scheduled for today. Everything is up-side-down. This last week of December is usually quiet but, not this year. I have had to turn down business.

We usually close the week after Christmas but getting so many calls I may change my mind. Is anyone else expeienceing this increase in clients wanting home inspections?

If you listen to the news they say it is doom and gloom but things have been pretty busy. How is it going for you out there? I sincrely hope busy for you.

May you have a nice Christmas and look fwd. to talking with you this 2008.

A date for 2008-Your First Entry

A good reminder for your 2008 calender.

Schedule your home inspection; whether you are buyer, seller or new home construction. This is also recommended  for regular home maintenance.

A professional inspector may spot some items that need attention. It's like getting your oil changed on a regular basis, or your yearly dental check or medical check-up.

Your home should have a yearly inspection by a professional inspector.

Example: I just had a realtor and his wife leave town for Thanksgiving; when they returned they came home to a flooded house. Need I say more. Two-story house, kitchen on street level (upper) with bedrooms downstairs. Could this have been prevented, maybe, maybe not, but certainly by having a yearly home inspections this may help identify some potential problem areas that can be addressed before the problem grows into a costl repair.

What do you think? Yearly home inspection is a good thing, Yes or No.

If yes, Why - if No, why not?

Let 's get into a good discussion on this one.
